Isabel U. Cooper

Nags Head – Isabel U. Cooper of Nags Head, NC left us on November 2, 2017. She was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on April 21, 1935 to her parents, William Stanley and Mary Charles Lee Ursery.

She is survived by her husband, John (Jack) Duffield Cooper Jr. and three sons, William Elvin Dismore III of Richmond VA, Lee Markland Dismore of Bella Vista AR, and John Duffield Cooper, III of Buford, GA and their spouses.

She watched over six grandchildren; Brian Dismore, Melissa Robillard, Lauren Treptow, Mitchell Dismore, Nicole Whitehead and Makensie Cooper and five great grandchildren; Ashley Dismore, Nicholas Dismore, Isabel Treptow, Peyton Treptow and River Lee Dismore.

Isabel is survived by her siblings, Nancye Lee McNew, Susan Camp and Frederick Stanley Ursery.

“I have lived a good and interesting life. I have loved and been loved. I am blessed.”

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at St. Andrews By-The-Sea in Nags Head, NC followed by the scattering of her ashes in the Memorial Garden on Saturday November 11, 2017 at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St. Andrews By-The-Sea Episcopal Church (PO Box 445, Nags Head NC 27959) are welcomed.
