Ione Constantina Wescott

Manteo – Ione “Connie” Constantina Wescott, 72, passed away June 18, 2020 in Virginia Beach, VA.  Connie was born April 28, 1948 to the late George R. Wescott and Foy Wescott. Connie was also preceded in death by her brother, George O. Wescott.

Surviving Connie is her cherished brother, A.C. Wescott of Manteo. Connie went to Granby High School in Norfolk, VA. She worked and retired from Estes Freight Lines and later had second careers with 20/20 Realty and the Outer Banks YMCA.

Connie loved to talk with people and be of service to folks.  She will be missed as she always brought a smile and good wishes to everyone she came in contact with.

A.C. will honor Connie’s wishes for cremation and no services are planned.  A.C. is gratefully requesting that anyone wishing to honor Connie do so with a donation made directly to Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. (252-216-8030) to assist with his sister’s cremation expenses.
