Henry M. Huggins

Moyock – Henry M. Huggins, 96, passed away on October 14, 2023. Henry was a proud WWII veteran serving on the USS Diachenko (APD123/DE690) alongside his fellow Marines fighting in the Pacific Theater.

Henry returned from war to work on the family farm and attend trade school for printing. He spent 50 years doing both until health issues forced him to quit. He did “fill in” pastoral work in his later years when able. Severe health problems caused him to be in and out of nursing and assisted care for the past 25 years.

His survivors include his son, Douglas Huggins (Alice) of Florida. He is at peace with his God now. Per Henry’s request, his preference for the simplicity of cremation will be honored and no services are planned. Please leave condolences to the family at gallopfuneralservices.com.
