Jarvisburg – Helen Louise Branscome, 92, of Jarvisburg, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 4, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born February 1, 1930, in Somerton, VA to the late William and Dora Hedgebeth. Helen was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry James Branscome; and her brother William Thomas Hedgebeth.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Brown (Don) of Kitty Hawk; grandson, Jason Brown (Amy) of Elizabeth City; and great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Noah Brown.

At this time, no services are planned. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society. Please share memories and condolences with the family at www.gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.
