Gene Langley

May 31, 2025

Gene Langley of Shawboro, NC, age 72, went to be with our Lord on May 31, 2025.  Gene is survived by his wife of 50 years Floreida Langley; his five children, April Langley (Allie) also of Shawboro, Sheilia King (Paul) of Edenton, NC, Scotty Stevenson of Barco, NC, Karen Twiford (Darrell) of Waterlily, NC, and Chris Stevenson (Consuelo) of Currituck, NC.

Gene is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren as well as three sisters Gloria Holt, Agatha Rowland (Johnny), and MaryAnn Kimball (Bob); five brothers, Tully Langley (Ruth) of Elizabeth City, NC, Billy Langley (Virginia) of Maple, NC, Randy Langley (Madonna) of Moyock, NC, Donny Langley (Diane), Jimmy Langley (Nancy) of Shawboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Gene was an expert outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.  He will be sadly missed. The funeral will be held graveside at Moyock Memorial Cemetery Wednesday June 18, 2025 at 1 pm.  Reverend Roy Twiddy will officiate.
