Gail Troutman Sanderlin

Gail Troutman Sanderlin, 65. lovingly known as “ Dil bit,” was given back to the Lord in her home on Saturday May 26, 2012 at 2:50 p.m. Gail was born in Greenwood, SC and moved to Wanchese where she raised her children. She then later moved to Manteo. Most of her free time was devoted to attending church and volunteering at Manteo Hotline. Gail was a member of Wanchese Assembly of God. She worked at Mann’s Red and White Supermarket for 17 years.

She was predeceased by her parents Maxwell D. and Mildred Evans Troutman and her husband Larry A. Sanderlin and daughter Pamela.

Surviving are her three sons, Larry Sanderlin, Jr and wife Shelly of Manns Harbor, Michael Sanderlin and wife Courtney of Manteo and Jeffrey Sanderlin and wife Tina of Wanchese; and one brother Timothy Troutman of Aiken, SC. She adored her grandchildren, Kory, Noah and Emma and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Nathan and Andrew.

A celebration of life will be at Wanchese Assembly of God Church on Friday June 1, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Mark Hinson. Visitation will begin one hour prior and burial will follow at Manteo Cemetery.
