  1. So sorry for your loss. Webb was a wonderful man n will be sorely missed. If we can help n any way plz don’t hesitate to let us know. We love y’all and are praying for the family!

  2. I’m so sorry to hear this. Webb was always a joy to be around. He had a wonderful sense of humor and such a kind heart. I enjoyed many cocktail hours with Silvia and Webb and thought about them often. God bless.

  3. Dear Sylvia and Family,
I have many cherished memories with you, Sylvia, and sweet Webbie. I love you all, and am sending prayers of comfort. You have lost a good one, but heaven has welcomed an angel.

  4. I’ve known the Williams family since I was 15 years old. There are so many wonderful memories to share I could write a book. Especially during the winter months, you could always find Webb in the kitchen thoroughly enjoying prepping a beef roast, with all the trimmings, for a delicious dinner. The fireplace roaring, cocktails waiting to be poured, Sylvia setting the tone with candle lite & table setting. They always made you feel welcome & part of the family. It was like walking into a live sitcom-you never knew what would fly out of their mouths, but you always knew the deep love they had for one another. I learned a lot from both of them and I will always treasure our 50 years of friendship. Webb & Sylvia are like my 2nd set of parents. I will miss him & hearing him say “hello sweetheart”. Rest in Peace Webb. I’m forever thankful to have known & loved you. 😢❤️

  5. Much love to Sylvia, Craig, Penny & Gill during this sad time. Webb will live on in the hearts & memories of all who knew & loved him. I will never forget his kindness to me, his great sense of humor & his excellent Bloody Mary mix!

  6. I wouldn’t know where to start actually….. Webber was such a special person. He will be missed and I’ll cherish and treasure the memories we had. Big hugs to the family. You’ll be in my prayers ❤️

  7. I have such fond memories of Webb..always friendly with a smile and a kind word. Your family is in my prayers.Sending my love. Tammy

  8. Getting to know WEBB for these past two years has been a blessing in my life. He always had a smile and was great at giving hugs. He was such a kind and considerate gentleman. He will be dearly missed on our Mondays at CDO. Sending your family hugs and prayers for your comfort and peace.

  9. Caring thoughts to you and your family! Think of you often, fond memories ! May precious memories bring comfort and peace!

  10. My deepest condolences. From the first time Webb and I met I always looked forward to his “hellos” at church or when he was drug along to a hair appointment. He will be greatly missed. Love you Sylvia!

  11. Webb was a happy, positive person who regularly spoke of Sylvia as a ‘keeper’. He was a joy to know. Thinking of Sylvia and her family during this time.

Frank Webb Williams, Jr.

November 25, 2024

Frank Webb Williams, Jr. of Kitty Hawk born November 1, 1935, passed away on November 25, 2024.

Webb was proceeded in death by his parents, Frank Webb Williams, Sr. and Pauline Menzell Williams and a sister, Lucille MacDonald.

Webb is survived by his wife, Sylvia Barkley Williams; and sons, Craig (Penny) and Gill. He is also survived by three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Webb had a varied career that included being a teacher, adult probation officer, Town Manager of Kitty Hawk and property manager of Sea Scape Golf and Villas. Webb’s happiest work was 15 years at Martin County Saving and Loans in Williamston where many lifelong friends were made.

Webb was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He always had a smile for anyone and a hug for all.

Webb enjoyed golfing, fishing, and eating good food. But most of all, he loved his Sylvia. From high school on, he would tell you that Sylvia was his heart. Although just one year older than him, Webb always claimed she robbed the cradle. Later he coined the phrase that she was a keeper.

To know Webb was to love Webb, and that is how his family asks you to remember him.

It was Webb’s wish to not have a service held and flowers and memorials be omitted. In lieu of these, it was his wish that all reach out to a family member, friend or neighbor. Please leave a message of hope at gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services was entrusted with arrangements.
