Evelyn H. Michaels
Swan Quarter – We are sad to announce the passing of Evelyn H. Michaels of Swan Quarter, NC. Evelyn was born May 31, 1934 and died April 1, 2023 a the age of 88.
She passed peacefully after a long illness. During her time in Hyde County. She was a member of Hyde County Senior Center and Swan Quarter Baptist Church. Evelyn’s adventurous spirit will be missed by all.
Evelyn is survived by her son, Michael E. Morse and wife Patricia; daughter, Jamey A. Lewark and husband Fred; and brother, James D. Hebron and wife Sylvia. She is also survived by two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

I just heard today she is no longer with us, but I will forever remember her friendship as one of the most meaningful to me. We worked together at wal mart but she made it bearable as she always was encouraging, fun, compassionate and quite a storyteller. She loved her family very much, and I'll never ever forget her
