I’m so deeply sorry for your loss. Miles was one of my closest friends. We used to just sit and talk for hours about our cars or about how he’s about to get another one because he was bored of the one he had. Anytime I called he’d answer and have some new crazy story to tell me, sometimes he’d even just show up outside my house and call me to tell me to hangout with him. Ethan was such a beautiful and vibrant soul, he carried the ability to light up any room he entered. I’ve known Ethan since I was very young, he was good friends with my 2 older brothers when we lived on the outer banks. Ethan moved to Virginia Beach shortly after I did and we lived in the same apartment complex before I moved to Georgia for college. Ethan was a dear friend, his smile and beautiful soul will forever be missed.

I went to school with Ethan, we bonded throughout middle school and became close for a while, while we drifted apart coke high school I would still run into him every now and then throughout dare county, this is heartbreaking to hear and I pray for Ethan’s family.

Grew up with Ethan. Spent pretty much every day at his house after school when he lived in Manteo. Was always a bright soul in a dark room, would do everything he could to make everyone around him laugh, even when he was going through something himself. He has a great spot in Heaven now next to his father. I am truly blessed to have been able to call him a friend. Rest easy, brother ❤️

Ethan was one of my best of friends from middle through highschool in manteo. He was a regular in our friend group. I would often wake up to him knocking at my door at 2am just to hangout. He cared deeply about his friends. He was one of the funniest friends I have ever had. He never failed to make us burst out in laughter. He loved to swing by and show me his newest modifications to his car, or ask for help working on them. I know he is up there watching over all of his friends, he never failed to let us know he truly cared. Ironically, even though he was one of my funniest friends, there were many times when we shared the deepest of conversations. Both Ethan and his family will remain in my prayers. I love and miss you bro💙 thank you for being the best of friends.

I remember being used to seeing Miles at a lot of our local car meets here in Virginia Beach. Every time he got out of his car he never failed to have a smile on his face and enjoy the company of others around him. He was always sociable and quick to strike up a conversation, whether he was talking about a recent mod on his car or just catching up on life with those around him. While I didn't know him as well as many, I can say that Miles was an amazing friend and an even better person. Even in the brief moments we shared, his genuine spirit left a lasting impression on me and I will never take it for granted. I want to extend my deepest condolences to his family and friends.
