Martins Point- Ellen Roberts Rammel Gray , 93 died in Nags Head Wednesday November 19, 2014. Ellen was born March 9, 1921 in Alexandria, VA. She was predeceased by her husband, Elias Edmonds Gray and her parents, Ernst and Effie Rammel of Alexandria.
In recent years Ellen resided with her beloved daughter Lucy in Corolla, NC and Martins Point, NC. She enjoyed attending St. Andrews By the Sea Church and dining out with family and friends. Ellen will be missed by her family and friends and by the community at Spring Arbor in Kill Devil Hills, NC. Besides her daughter Lucy of Martins Point, Ellen is survived by her son, Thomas E. Gray of California and her brother Charles E. Rammel of Pennsylvania.
Plans for a memorial service at Spring Arbor are pending at this time. Memorial donations in Ellen’s honor may be made to St. Andrews Church or to Spring Arbor Outer Banks.
