Elizabeth Marie Estrada

Grandy – Elizabeth Marie Estrada, 36, passed on Friday December 14, 2018 peacefully at her home in Grandy, NC. She was born on December 29, 1981 in Elizabeth City, NC to Emilio and Susan Estrada. Elizabeth battled kidney failure (ESRD) for many years. She was at peace with her decision to end the fight.

Elizabeth spent her last few days happy and in comfort of many friends and family members. She really loved her family. She was surrounded by her family and best friend when God called her home.

She is loved and survived by her mother and father, Emilio and Susan Estrada; older brother Matthew (43) and wife Chevelle Estrada; Little brother Emilio (31) and wife Khadi Estrada; and her only little sister. Erlinda Estrada (35). Also surviving are her two nephews, Erik and Dylan Snyder,her niece, Alyssa Estrada, and also her dearest, best friend, Rachelle Alex Sobota and family.

The family gratefully suggests that donations in Elizabeth’s memory be made directly to Gallop Funeral Services to assist with Elizabeth’s memorial expenses. Friends and family may view and visit the family at Gallop Memorial chapel Barco, NC Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 6 pm to 8 pm. The memorial service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Poplar Branch Baptist Church in Grandy, North Carolina. The Rev. Tom Meyer will officiate.
