Edgar “Eddie” Donald Pentecost, Jr.

Wanchese- Edgar “Eddie” Donald Pentecost, Jr. passed away in Norfolk December 4, 2012 from complications due to cancer. Born in Stutgart, Germany January 8, 1962 Eddie was raised in a military family. He was the son of the late Edgar D. Pentecost, Sr. and the late Linda Berry Pentecost. Eddie grew up in Manteo and was employed as a local carpenter for many years. Eddie also cherished his time as a member of Roanoke Acres Church of Christ.

Surviving Eddie Pentecost is one daughter, Jordan L. Pentecost of Wanchese; two brothers, Curtis Pentecost (Cynthia) of Kitty Hawk, and Cecil “Tony” Pentecost of Colington; two sisters, Carol Myles (Danny) of Manns Harbor, and Cynthia Pentecost of Wanchese; one nephew; two nieces; his former wife Peggy Pentecost of Wanchese and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and lifelong friends.

The family will hold a memorial service Saturday December 8, 2012 at 3 pm at Roanoke Acres Church of Christ in Manteo. Kenneth McCrickard will officiate. A scattering ceremony will be private at a future date.
