David Winfield Wallace

Kill Devil Hills- Born on Thanksgiving Day in 1969, David Winfield Wallace died on July 5, 2017. David grew up in Seaford, VA, was an Eagle Scout, graduated from York High School in 1988, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Virginia Tech in 1994.

Fondly known as “Pirate Dave” by his friends, he loved the ocean, boats, and fishing, and he always rooted for the Hokies. Preceded in death by his brother George. David is survived by his devoted mother Lee of Newport News VA, his father George of Rileyville VA, his sister Shannan and her family of Massachusetts, and the many friends who loved him over the years. The family will hold a private service when the time is right.
