David Ronald (Ronnie) Pastorius

Kill Devil Hills-David Ronald (Ronnie) Pastorius, 75, of Kill Devil Hills, NC died Saturday August 16, 2014. He was born September 13, 1938. He was the loving son of the late Morgan and Thelma Pastorius of McMechen WVA.

David was a member of the First Church of God in McMechen and was a United States Coast Guard Veteran. He received his Real Estate license and worked in sales for many years. David loved spending time with his family and doing magic tricks. He was also an animal lover.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his loving wife Clarine Pastorius, his brother in law Larry Frey and his niece, Lori Frey Padlow.

David Pastorius is survived by three daughters, Julianna Pastorius and Samantha Pastorius both of Kill Devil Hills, NC, and Carol Pastorius of Elizabeth City, NC and Lorra Sawyer of Elizabeth City whom he always considered a fourth daughter. He also leaves four grandchildren; Brittany Pastorius, Caleb Jones, Lori Jones and Aaron Leitl; his loving sister, Lois Jean Frey of Moundsville, WVA; a sister in law, Lorene(George) Walters; his God son, Kory Sanderlin and his mother Michelle Robbins; nephews, Michael Frey and Patrick (Caroline) Frey; his niece, Lisa (Jay) William; five great-nephews, Bryan and Jacob Berger, Alex and Patrick Frey and Jesse Padlow; three great-nieces, Carly Frey and Morgan and Addie Padlow and his long time friend, Ted Landers of Utah.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday August 20, 2014 at 6:30 pm with a viewing one hour prior at Gallop Funeral Services chapel. The Rev. Kelly Lacy will officiate. Interment with military honors will be held at Halcyon Hills Cemetery in Sherrard, WVA in the near future.
