I don't have the words to express how sorry I am. Allison, TT and the rest of Dave's family, please know that there are so many of us who are brokenhearted for you and will miss Dave terribly. I enjoyed so many conversations across our decks and backyards, exchanging tomatoes & fish, just a lot of good memories. What a great guy. Like Rich said, he enjoyed life on his terms - that's for sure.
Please know that Dave's family members and friends are in my thoughts and prayers. My deceased husband loved going fishing with Dave and Dave was always so thoughtful and kind to help me with little things after I lost Jim. He was a very kind and thoughtful person and I, as well as others, will miss him.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Was my favorite waiter. RIP

My sister Ann just told me the news. I knew David for most of my school days - he was 2 years younger but his sister Allison was a classmate of mine. He and I were on the LHS tennis team. Later he and I and Farrar Puckett would hang out at his house from time to time, drinking. beer and stuff. He was an awful nice guy. I am so sorry to hear that he died. Peace to all his friends and family.
Everything is just coming to light for us. We have loved this family for years and want to say our love is with you. Thanks for all your friendship through the years. Norma and Hugh Saunders
