David C. Bingham

David C. Bingham, 78, of Kitty Hawk, NC, formerly of Somers, NY died on September 8, 2016 at Chesapeake General Hospital. David was born in Blairsville, GA on July 29, 1938. David is the beloved husband of Jean R. (Morgese) Bingham; loving father of Patricia Corsale, Claire Bingham and Barbara Jean (Ralph) Williams; devoted grandfather of Joseph Tidwell, Vincent Corsale and Ashley Williams; dear brother of 6 sisters and the late Henry Bingham; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

David was the proprietor of Jensen Flooring Co. of Katonah, NY and a retired General Contractor. He was a proud US Army Veteran. David touched so many lives with his generous heart and kind personality. Besides his deep love for his entire family, he enjoyed helping many others at all times. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved his flowers and garden. A lifetime member of Ponus Yacht Club and the North Salem Fish and Game Club. Founding member of the Outer Banks Anglers Club, Southern Shores Boat Club and the Outer Banks Gun Club.

A remembrance service will be held at the Gallop Memorial Chapel Sunday October 16, 2016 at  2 pm.  A reception with the family will follow.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to: Food For Thought, Inc., PO Box 1167, Kitty Hawk, NC 27949,www.foodforthoughtobx.org.
