David Brian Ingersoll

Colington –  David Brian Ingersoll of Colington left us unexpectedly Sunday October 26, 2014 in Nags Head.  “Dave” as everyone knew him,  was born in New Jersey December 10, 1959.  He was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Sachiko Ingersoll.

After high school Dave graduated with a bachelors degree in business from Drexel University.  After relocated in the  Outer Banks, Dave met and married his soul mate Vici.  Dave was a well known manager of several local restaurants.  Recently he served as a loving caregiver for several local families. Dave will be remembered most for his generosity, kindness, compassion, and willingness to be a friend to anyone.

Left to mourn Dave Ingersoll is his wife Vici and her son Aaron (Miranda) and grandsons, Rex and Bastian; his aunt Marie Ingersoll, who considered him like a son; his close cousins “like sister and brother”, Jean Abbott (Drew) and Clayton Ingersoll (Drew); his nephew Parker Ingersoll; and numerous other extended family members and loyal friends and coworkers.

The funeral will be held at the Gallop Chapel Saturday November 1, 2014 at 11 am with burial immediately following at Roanoke Island memorial gardens in Manteo.
