David Barclay Totty

David Barclay Totty, 81, of Hopewell, Virginia, formerly of Manteo, NC died November 22, 2012 after a long illness. David was born in Petersburg, Va on April 28, 1931. He graduated from Randolf Macon College and served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He married his beloved Janice and had a son, Barclay Totty, Jr. who was tragically killed in 2000. Janice passed away shortly thereafter. He was also predeceased by a brother Robert.

Lovingly called “Buck” by his close friends, David spread his dry wit and love of all things related to hunting to all he knew. He will truly be missed. David is survived by two granddaughters, Ivy and Kotya Totty. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
