Dave Presgraves

Kill Devil Hills – Dave Presgraves,55, passed away November 1st after a short, but valiant battle with cancer.  He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Lisa and faithful companion Lucas, daughter Shea Presgraves of Kitty Hawk, parents Marge and Randy Presgraves of Richmond, Virginia, brother and sister in law Allen and Jan Presgraves of Kill Devil Hills, sister and brother in law Susan and Scott Robinson from Lynchburg, Virginia, nieces and nephews Austin, Jordan, Nathan. Dave was luckily enough to have a second family that loved him  as well. And is survived my mother and father in law Diane Fiedorczyk and George Fiedorczyk, brother in law and wife Mark and Maria Fiedorczyk , brother in law and wife Scott and Mercinda Fiedorczyk, brother in law and wife Eric and Kim Fiedorczyk and sister in law and husband Carrie and Bobby Houseknecht, 8 nieces and nephews, and many devoted friends. He was preceded by Grandma Morrow, Grandmother Presgraves and nephew Brandon Presgraves.

Dave was a native Virginian, born in Radford. He graduated from Great Bridge High School and moved to the Outer Banks in the 80’s, due to his passion for surfing and construction opportunities. He was a member of the Wave Riding Vehicle surf team and long time local builder. He considered the Outer Banks his home but loved to travel in search of waves with his wife Lisa. He adored his dog Lucas and those that came before him T-bird and Cabo.

Allen and Jan Presgraves will host a celebration of the life of David Presgraves (who died November 1, 2014) at the Red Drum Restaurant in Nags Head Sunday November 23, 2014 at 2 pm.

The family would like to thank the amazing community and friends of Dave’s that were there for him throughout his battle. There will be paddle out scheduled for the Spring to celebrate his life.
