Curtis Bryan Brothers
Powells Point – Curtis “Curt” Bryan Brothers, 61, of Powell’s Point, NC, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Yvonne and William Brothers and two brothers, Mark and David.
Curt was loved dearly by his friends and family. He loved fishing, hunting, the outdoors and all things trivia! He is survived by his partner and best friend, Alethea Weimer of Powell’s Point, his youngest brother Matthew of Wilson, NC and several nephews.
At Curt’s request, his cremation will be followed by a private memorial celebration at his favorite spot on the beach, The Black Pelican at a later date. Expressions of sympathy and comfort are welcome via the online register at gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.

I was so sad to hear of Curt’s passing. What great time our group had…..Bloody Mary Sundays at Jim and Rhett’s, trivia at the Bird, picnics… so many happy memories. Curt will be on the wall with Ed and so many friends. Take care of yourself. Love you.

Wow did we have fun from 79 to 87 we had one heck of a blast 1st in E-city then at the Outerbanks. so very sorry we didn't get that last meal but these last 30+ years surely sent us down different roads. May you enjoy your relief from the pain and discomfort of that disease that took the fun out many things in your life. Looking forward to seeing you on the other side
