Cora L. O’Neal

Cora L. O’Neal was called home to be with the Lord April 22, 2025 in Plymouth, North Carolina. She was 64 and born February 5, 1961 in Florida to Loretta Lee Midgett O’Neal and George O. O’Neal Jr.- both deceased. Cora was also preceded in death by her sister, Cherri O. Quidley, and her nephews, Danial Beckham, Jr. and Richard W. Gray.
Known for her contagious smile and sweet caring nature, Cora will be missed by all who were blessed to know her. She is survived by; her two children, Leigh Anne Winslow (Clarence) of Frisco, NC and Chuck Davis of New River Valley, VA; two grandchildren,
Devon Chrisley of New River Valley, VA, and Tyler Winslow of Frisco, NC; Cora’s siblings George O. O’Neal (Ann) of Buxton, NC Jimmy R. O’Neal also of Buxton, NC,
Linda P. Gifford (Bob) of Trenton, NJ, Cathy D. Johnson (Pete) of Chesapeake, VA, and numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members, and friends.
Cora’s memorial service will be held at Little Grove Methodist Church in Frisco, NC Saturday May 3, 2025 at 11 am. The family expresses its sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone for all the kindness and love shown to Cora. She was a bright light in this world and she will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org, or to the Outer Banks Hotline at obhotline.org . Please share expressions of sympathy with the family at gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.

My condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of meeting Cora when my mother was in the same room at Currituck Health & Rehab Center. She was a sweet lady.
Aunt Cora was one of the joys of my childhood. Never without a smile and brought love and light wherever she would go. She will be terribly missed ♥️
My condolences to all friends and family. Cora and I were not only cousins but friends. She will be missed.
Cora was such a beautiful person and sweet and loving and caring person I got to know Cora I myself is in the nursing home with Cora we had some good times playing bingo and having lunch together. God speed to the family and Cora thanks for all the laughs God Bless you love you sister
