Colington –  Colleen Roberts-Hill of Colington passed away November 26, 2015 in Nags Head.  Colleen was born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 19, 1967.  Colleen graduated from Manteo High School in 1985.  She studied cosmetology and real-estate and worked for many years as an office administrator working in many local real-estate offices over the years.

Colleen was also a member of Colington United Methodist Church.  She loved singing, the ocean and was a Harley Davidson enthusiast. She was also an artist and a music lover.  In her spare time, she was an amazing mother, grandmother and daughter.

Colleen is survived by her parents, Robert and Cheryl Roberts of Colington Harbour; her daughter, Jessica Merritt (Chris) of Colington; son, Cody Hill of Colington; grand daughter, Lilly Grace Merritt; aunt, Kay Allen (Jim) of Pittsburgh, PA; many extended family members and dear friends.

The funeral will be held at Colington United Methodist Church, Monday, November 30, 2015 at 12pm.  Reverend Bob Pitch will be the eulogist.  Friends may gather following the service at the Merritt residence in Colington.  The burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Colleen’s memory may be made to Gallop Funeral Services to offset with the funeral expenses.
