Christopher Allan LeVine
Christopher “Chris” Allan LeVine of East Lake, 49, passed away peacefully June 30, 2026 in Craven County, North Carolina after a 12- month fight with stage IV lung cancer. He was born February 28, 1977, in Fairfax, Virginia, to Laura Fuller. Chris was a bright beacon of love and laughter, a lover of all things taco-related, and a man who defined himself not by his accomplishments but by the joy he brought to others.
Chris was known for his signature goatee, his ever-present goofy grin, and his fluency in sarcasm. His love for trivia, beating his wife at Scrabble, and watching the Food Network was only surpassed by his love for his family and fur kids: Waylon, Holly, Goat, and Daffy. Chris’ days were often spent at the refuge, taking walks and soaking up the beauty of the world around him, accompanied by his best dog, Waylon.
Chris leaves behind a legacy of laughter and “One Love.” His ability to bring light into any room will be remembered by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving spouse, Jennifer LeVine; his mother, Laura Fuller LeVine; his step-father, John Fuller; his sister-in-law, Emily Snyder; his aunts Linda Sulser (Garlin) and Ilene Rodgers (Tom); his cherished nieces Amber, Kristen, and Victoria; and his many close friends whom he referred to as family.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 1 pm at the Comfort Inn South in Nags Head. In lieu of flowers, donations in Chris’ name are welcome at the Cowell Cancer Center or the Outer Banks Relief Foundation.
Chris’ life was a testament to the power of love and laughter, a reminder to always find joy in the simple things, and a beacon of light that will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved him. His memory will forever be etched in the hearts of all who knew him, a beloved husband, son, step-son, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Chris’ radiant spirit, loving heart, sarcastic humor, and infectious laughter will be dearly missed.
