I was saddened to hear the news Chris had passed away. I worked pretty closely with Chris and knew him to be kind, friendly, full of joy, and loved his family above all else. My prayers are with you all as I know he will be dearly missed. Chris is one of the best.

Mr. Chris, I want to thank you for the wisdom + love you showed my husband and I throughout these years. He speaks so fondly of the car wisdom and fun times you two shared. I’m so deeply saddened to learn of Chris’ death. He and I both worked at Ntelos and later Shentel. He was a pleasant and friendly person to be around. I joked with him because he looks so much like one of my nephews and he occasionally would call me "Uncle". I wish his family peace and comfort as you grieve.

My deepest condolences to you all. I worked with Chris for many years at both nTelos and Shentel and like many have said, he was always kind, joyful, always willing to help, listen, and laugh. Above all, he loved his family and his Savior. Praying for the Peace of Christ to be with you all and that the Hope of the Resurrection will sustain you from now until that Day when Christ makes all things new.

Our hearts ache for your family over the loss of Chris. He was truly one of a kind and a very loving family man. The Vahles have enjoyed many fun times with Chris and the Sahr clan over the years. Ken especially admired Chris' unique repair techniques and will always remember working together at N'Telos and the fun times they had dressing up as "Super Zeroes" for Fred's birthday. He touched all our lives and we are grateful to have known him. RIP Chris.

Dearest Ann, it is with heavy hearts we send our belated condolence's to you and the family. Chris was a wonderful neighbor, especially when I needed help with car trouble.
