Charlotte Jane Culifer
Moyock – Charlotte Pearman Perdue Culifer, 94, of Moyock, NC went into the hands of the Lord on January 4, 2022. She went peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Elizabethton, TN September 1, 1927. Her parents were Ernest R. Pearman and Beulah O. Pearman. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Charlotte was predeceased by her loving husband, James A Culifer and by her stepdaughter, Marie Pisacreta.
She was the mother of three daughters, Dianne Shaffier (Ron) of Gilbert, AZ; Teree Childress (Reese) of Carthage, NC; and Jan Mannchen (Brian) of Moyock, NC. Charlotte is also survived by her stepdaughter, Beverly Ray as well as seventeen grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren that she cherished.
Charlotte retired from Sheller Globe of Norfolk, VA. She enjoyed hand sewing and embroidery. Charlotte loved to feed anyone that walked through her front door and would try to feed them again before they left.
Charlotte was a devout Christian and a member of Moyock Assembly of God, where her funeral and committal service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday January 8, 2022. The burial will be private.

I loved her. She was always good to our family. I hope she Rest In Peace and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Jan, Brian and family, I was so sad to see of Miss Culifer's passing, but happy for her that she is now in her Father's kingdom. She was always so sweet to me and my kids when we came to Moyock to visit Jan and her boys. Love to all of you. We are praying for the families comfort.

Charlotte Culifer was a beautiful example of a Christian. She was so sweet and loving and will be greatly missed. No one ever questioned her love for Jesus as it was quite evident!
