Beatrice Marie Goldman
UPDATED: Beatrice Marie Goldman, 87, of Salvo NC, known as “Nanny B” in her community, was born in Beechwood, IN on May 16, 1935. She quietly passed away on April 4, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. Nanny B was predeceased by her husband, Jackie, aka “Papa J”; her; mother and father, Amzel and Nova Seaton; brother, John Seaton; and sisters, Thelma Shields and Mildred Purcell.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Liston (Floyd) of Hertford NC; sons, Jeffery Goldman of Salvo and Paul Goldman of Buxton NC; granddaughters, Amy De Young (Eric) of Newport News, VA and Kimberly Liston of Hertford NC; and great grandchildren, Megan De Young, Ryan De Young, and Nova Liston.
The family will host a potluck style celebration of the lives of Nanny Bea and Papa J at the Salvo Fire Hall on Saturday April 15, 2023 from 4 pm to 7 pm. Please share condolences and expressions of support at gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.
