Amber Rose Everhart

November 3, 2017

Kill Devil Hills – Amber Rose Everhart 33, went home to rest in the arms of our LORD on November 3, 2017, while awaiting heart surgery at Greenville Vident Medical Center.  She was born in Newport News, VA in 1984 and moved to the Outer Banks in 1989.

Amber loved living here and enjoyed surfing, basketball, fishing, glass collecting, and was a gifted artist. She had a loving, outgoing, adventurous spirit along with a gift of compassion.   Amber was a very caring and loving mother to her son, Ashton, who was her greatest blessing.  She also had a special love for her dog Chloe.  For those who knew Amber, knew Chloe was in her arms or not far behind.

Amber was known for her love of family and friends and will be sincerely missed by her son, Ashton Edward Everhart, her mom and dad,  Wayne and Kerstin Everhart,  her sister, Maranda and her family, Cory, Maddox, Makai, and baby Cory, her brothers, Wayne Jr and Shawn, her loving and devoted grandmothers, Lucille M Everhart and Friedel Inman, her Aunt Marion and Jim Asher,  Uncle Mike Eyerman, Uncle Phil Everhart,  Bruce and Jeanne Everhart,  David and Shiryl Everhart and a very long list of very closely connected cousins.

The family appreciates all that everyone did to care for and help Amber.  All friends are invited to an OPEN HOUSE celebration for Amber on Saturday, Nov 25, 2017, 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at the Everhart residence.

In lieu of flowers, we respectfully request donations be made to an education fund account set up for Amber’s son, Ashton.  Checks made payable to Edward Jones, FBO Ashton Everhart,  PO Box 789, Youngsville, North Carolina  27596.

May GOD Bless you all as HE has blessed our family.

“I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”  John 14:3   We know we can trust GOD and His love, even when we do not understand.
