Adam “Nick” Thompson

Adam “Nick” Thompson passed away peacefully May 9, 2021.  Loved by many, he will be forever missed for his quick wit, willingness to help everyone, and gift of gab.  He truly never met a stranger.  A native of Dare County, Nick loved boating, fishing, and his community.

Nick is survived by his mother and father, Ruby and Larry Thompson of the Powells Point home; his sister, Katie Slaughter (Steve); his niece, Olivia Slaughter all of Jarvisburg; his beloved fur baby, Dixie; as well as a numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at the Manteo Cemetery Thursday May 13, 2021 at 10:00 am.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your local animal shelter. Please express condolences to the family via the online register at www.gallopfuneralservices.com.
