David Alan Brinkman, Sr.
David Alan Brinkman, Sr, 79, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Sunday, May 24, 2026 in Norfolk, VA. The loving and devoted husband and father was a resident of Kill Devil Hills for several years.
David’s survivors include the love of his life, wife, Rosalyn “Lynn” Brinkman of the Kill Devil Hills home; two sons David Jr. of Las Vegas and Bradford of San Diego and their families as well as a host of other relatives, in-laws, extended family members, dear friends and neighbors, and his Nags Head church family.

David’s preference for cremation will be honored and the family has planned his celebration of life service for Saturday May 30, 2026 at 2 pm at Nags Head Church. At a future date, The family will hold a memorial service back home in Ohio where his remains will be laid to rest.
