Thomas John Chisholm

April 21, 2025

Thomas John Chisholm, 83, of Kitty Hawk, NC, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born in Meadville, Pennsylvania January 10, 1942, Tom graduated from Meadville High School and attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. A lifelong adventurer, Tom was an avid snow skier and a passionate vintage car racing enthusiast who found joy in both speed and serenity.

In 1997, Tom moved to the Outer Banks after purchasing The Beach Book, embracing the coastal community he quickly came to love. He was proud to be a part of the Outer Banks and cherished the friendships and connections he built there over the years.

Above all, Tom was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a beloved grandfather. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline; his son Robert and daughter-in-law Amy of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and his daughter Jamie and son-in-law Chris of Kill Devil Hills, NC.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. All are warmly invited to a reception following the service at the Kitty Hawk Pier House. Tom’s legacy of warmth, curiosity, and love for life will be remembered by all who knew him.  Please share a word of comfort with the Chisholm family at www.gallopfuneralservices.com .
