Theresa A. Rogers
Kill Devil Hills – On Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022, Theresa Rogers joined her daughter, Shawna Hartley; mother, Claire Taylor; father, Billy Taylor; and brother, William Taylor in Heaven.
She leaves behind her sons, which she loved so much, Michael Rogers (Erin) and Robert Haire; her sisters, Patricia Taylor Parker (Gene), Lynn Taylor and Pamela Collier (Brian); many nieces, nephews and most of all; her granddaughter, Shawna Rogers who was named in memory of her daughter that she lost so many years before.
Theresa lived her life the way she wanted, yes at times it was hard, but she was an amazing woman who could conquer all. What she leaves in life is a legacy of love, determination, sacrifice and ability to make anything possible. She will be remembered always through the people she touched and loved over the years. There will be a private gathering by the family to celebrate her life.
Her one wish was if she were to pass that any donations be given to her Grand Daughter Shawna Rogers for her college fund. She always wanted to make sure she could give something to her that would last her a lifetime that she never had herself growing up. There has been a GoFundMe set up in her honor at https://gofund.me/8f4d6b31.
Now with Theresa in heaven looking down on us all, she had one final word to say to all her family and friends “ Bye-cycle”.
