Robert F. “The Herb Guy” Kolinger
Robert Frank “The Herb Guy” Kolinger passed away peacefully in Norfolk November 23, 2025. Bob was 75 and born in New Jersey. He was a brave Vietnam Era Veteran of the United States Army and a successful contractor for many years. More recently, Bob started a and ran a fresh herb cultivation business supplying countless restaurants and local “foodies” with high quality home grown herbal seasonings.
Survivors include Bob’s devoted wife of 36 years Peggy of the Point Harbor residence; and his two God-daughters Robin and Amanda. Bob was also the loving guardian of his nephew, Austin Pascoe and he leaves several cousins to mourn his passing as well. Our hearts are full of sadness at the loss of such a good man, husband, and my brother in law. He will be missed and remembered always!
Peggy, I am sad for your loss. Bob Hartis thought so much of your Bob. I still miss Bob every day and I know you will have the same experience. I try remembering our good times. I'm sure you have many good memories too.
Peggy I am so sorry for the loss of Bob. Meeting you two at Dr Jones was a pleasure and Bob always came in with a smile . I am so blessed to be able to meet the you both. You are in my prayers.
