Condolences
Bob was a great friend of mine. We shared many similar interests and hobbies. I really appreciated his dry sense of humor and would poke at him when we were together to have a little fun. He was a good sport about it. He was always available to lend a helping hand and did so for us on numerous occasions. I would frequently consult with him on house projects to get his perspective and he would give great advice. He had an eye for detail. When he did a project, he did it with the highest degree of quality and perfection. He will be sincerely missed. Our deepest sympathies to Kim and Bob’s family. Kevin and Karen Curtis
Bob became a "member" of our family a few days after his family moved to Warren so many years ago. No matter where his adventures took him, he stayed in touch. He and Kim thoughtfully send cards on certain holidays throughout the years. Bob was especially close to our son Bill. They grew up together, and kept in touch. May God Bless Kim and give her great strength as she experiences this severe loss. Elaine Layman
Kim, Nancy, and extended family. I wish to express my sincerest condolences to you all. Buzzy(Bill) has kept us informed as to Bobs medical decline and ultimate passing. We all are so sad for everything that he and you had to endure. Thankfully I have so many happy memories to remember him as time goes on. Bob had the best laugh and smile that I will always remember about him whenever I think of our many, many good times! Bob, Your laughter and smile will be missed, but never forgotten. Rest in peace fubar.
Bob was my closest friend growing up. Bob and his family moved to my hometown when I was in 9th grade and we did a lot of stuff together over the years - he will be missed. Bob always opened his Arizona home to my family and friends, he treated them like honored guests whenever he hosted their visits. Whenever I was returning home from my overseas employment I would try to schedule a stop in AZ to spend at least a couple weeks with Bob and Kim - great times with great friends. Bob has always been a "detail guy" and I wager that right now, wherever he is, he's organizing and straightening up... no clutter allowed!
So sorry to hear about Bob. It was too bad that we were so far apart so we could have enjoyed his company. Our most sincere condolences to Kimberly and Max.
I remember when Bob and his family moved to Connecticut in the town of Warren from New Jersey. We became fast friends due to our relationship with the Layman family. We had much fun together and shared some great times together. I got married and raised a family and as life goes by we lost touch for a while. Then Bob visited the area and we met up again to my pleasure. Unfortunately we met again at his Dad’s funeral and again at Bill Layman Sr.’s , but it warmed my heart to see Bob and to meet Kim. I’ll always have fond memories of our time together with all the gang from Warren. I’m going to miss him.
