  1. Richard was a nice man turned out when I met we had a couple of friends in common from our past.
    He would always pleasant to everyone. He use to pick up trash on Walnut Island Boulevard,on his daily walks.
    He will be missed especially on Dolphin court.

Richard Leon Sutton 70, died unexpectedly of natural causes at his Grandy, NC home July 15, 2025. At one time “Dickie” as he was fondly known, worked in respiratory therapy. He is survived by his two sisters, Kelley S. VanDyke of Eugene, Oregon and Sue S. Williams (Mark) of Athens, Georgia several nieces, and his closest friend, Bob Furr of the Outer Banks, North Carolina. Cremation arrangements are pending and no services are planned.
