Nicholas Andersen

Kill Devil Hills- Nicholas Andersen, 75, died of natural causes at his home in Kill Devil Hills, NC on Tuesday, October 6, 2009. He was born in Ostrov, Russia on April 8, 1934 and immigrated to the United States in 1960. Nicholas worked as a language instructor for the Federal Government for thirty-two years. In 1992 he retired to Kill Devil Hills where he had been a resident ever since. He is predeceased by his son Michael Andersen.

Survivors include one daughter, Tamara Carbaugh; one son, Paul Andersen; and ex-wife Irene Onton Andersen of Reston, VA.
