Mary L. Fahed

Kill Devil Hills- Mary L. Fahed died unexpectedly June 9, 2012 in Nags Head after a brief illness. She was 95 years of age. Mary was born in the North Carolina Mountains and was preceded in death by her husband Hampton J. Fahed.

Besides county music and gospel songs, Mary cherished her many great- grand nieces and nephews . Mary will be especially missed by her loving and devoted family caretakers, James “Jay” Sylvia and wife, Jennifer Sylvia of the Kill Devil Hills residence.

The family will hold a private service at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully suggests that memorial tributes be forwarded to a cancer charity of your choosing. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with local arrangements.
