Mary Frances Martin Ramsey

Mary Frances Martin Ramsey, 95, went to be with her Lord February 18, 2025 at her daughter’s home in Kill Devil Hills, NC. Mary was born August 2, 1929. She was preceded in death by her parents Dora Lee Martin and John Luther Martin, her husband W.E. “Rock” Ramsey, and her brothers and sisters Floyd Martin, John L. Martin Jr., Ruby Houston, Ruth Lee Schrum, and Henry Martin.
Mary was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, going to flea markets with her sister, Ruth and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
May the love of Mary continue to descend upon our hearts. May we walk in the beauty that Mary has blessed and bestowed upon us to relish, appreciate, and share. A life well lived, a life well loved, and Mary’s many gifts forever entrenched in our hearts. Mary’s angel will comfort us and guide us forward to continue the wonderful life work and legacy she created
Mary’s survivors include her daughter, Betty Anne Seigman (James); two grandchildren, Tomarah Lynn Hodgson (James) and Shannon Shay Allen (Eric); five great- grandchildren, Chase Tyler Mosconi, Kayla Shay Houston, Jakob Riley Allen, Carter Loren Allen (Maddie), and Skyler Shay Allen; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A family memorial service will be held at Southlawn Cemetery in Prince George, VA at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The National Alzheimer’s Association. Please share expressions of sympathy with the family at www.gallopfuneralservices.com .

Please accept my sincere sympathy. I worked for Rock at SRMC back in the 80’s, and visited them at their home in CH. She was just the sweetest lady!
