Marilyn June Christian
Kill Devil Hills – On December 30th, 2023 we are sad to announce the passing of our beloved mother Marilyn June Christian. Marilyn was surrounded by her immediate family, beloved daughter Nadine Christian, son in law Joesph Newmark and grandson Evan Harrell. She is also survived by her daughter, Michele Christian; and her sons, Christopher Glass and Brandon Glass.
Marilyn was predeceased by her husband, Guy Christian; and her brother, Mervin “Bud” Milks.
Marilyn was born in Monticello, NY, later moving to Suffern, NY and retiring to Pennsylvania and eventually joining her daughter in Kill Devil Hills, NC.
Marilyn was active in the Civil Air Patrol in high school and later went on to become a medical librarian at the former Lederle Labs. She enjoyed gardening, antiquing, and painting.
She was a kind and caring person, always quick with a story or opinion. We will all continue to celebrate her life and legacy and know she will always be here with us.
