Lynn Marie Patterson
Lynn Marie Patterson 64, of Nags Head died of natural causes in Kill Devil Hills November 20, 2025. Lynn was born in Ohio. Her loving wife, Diane Sutorus of the Nags Head home is honoring Lynn’s preference for the simplicity of cremation. Memorial plans are pending at this time. Heaven welcomed today a heart the size of our universe, in Lynn. Lynn will be missed and loved forever by Diane, her turtle friends and all who knew her.
The moment Patches and I met Lynn and Diane on a therapy dog visit to Spring Arbor, we connected. Patches was clearly drawn to Lynn as was Lynn to Patches. She exuded warmth, kindness and a gentle spirit and Patches adored her. We will greatly miss our visits with Lynn and Diane but are so grateful she's no longer suffering. Our hearts goes out to Diane. Thank you for letting us share precious time with you both. Robin and Patches

I’m so broken hearted to hear about Lynn’s passing. She was such wonderful friend and leader through out NEST. I’ll never forget her warm smile, her confidence and her willingness to help. She will be dearly missed.💔😭🙏
