Lee Roy Forsythe

Kill Devil Hills- Lee Roy Forsythe 78, passed on naturally in Columbia, NC February 21, 2023. Lee was born in 1944 into a hardworking farm family in Henderson, NC. He was the son of the late Robert and the late Sarah Forsythe and was a resident of Kill Devil Hills, NC.

Lee loved good food and enjoyed trying new restaurants. He was also an avid gardener and delighted in beautifying his yard. Lee took special pride in working his plot in the Kitty Hawk Community Garden and tending his Blue Bird boxes.

Lee once worked in the furniture industry. Locally, he was employed for over ten years in screen printing for Island X-Per-Tees.  Lee also loved cats and cared for many over the years. Lee is survived by his beloved sister, Connie Hathaway (Mike) also of Kill Devil Hills, NC.
