Jerry Ray Stallings
Jerry Ray Stallings, 76, of Grandy, NC passed away March 14, 2026 at Norfolk General Hospital. He was born in Maiden, NC to the late Edgar and Marie Stallings. In addition to the parents, Jerry was proceeded in death by his brother, Richard Stallings and sister, Linda Quickel both of Maiden, NC.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Viva Stallings of the home, two nephews and two nieces.
Jerry was a graduate of Bandys High School, class of 1969 and was employed by Comm-Scope, Catawba Plant for 22 years. He was an avid fisherman and upon retirement finally moved to the Outer Banks to pursue his passion. He spent many hours on the Sounds and at the Ocean doing what he loved the most.

Could not have had a better friend growing up. We hunted, fished and camped together for years. He was a truly open and loyal friend
Our hearts are broken. He was truly loved by us both. Tim always looked forward to the next time he was getting to see (uncle) Jerry. Whether they were getting to go fishing or just hanging out. Viva ,so sorry to hear about Jerry he was a wonderful person, enjoyed working with him but most of all having him for a friend he was a true friend we will miss him he was so proud of yalls place at the beach and he could finally do what he wanted to do fish and no time clock or having to be some were to wire a house, ours hearts are prayers are with you ❤️
