Jerry Ray Stallings

March 14, 2026

Jerry Ray Stallings, 76, of Grandy, NC passed away March 14, 2026 at Norfolk General Hospital. He was born in Maiden, NC to the late Edgar and Marie Stallings. In addition to the parents, Jerry was proceeded in death by his brother, Richard Stallings and sister, Linda Quickel both of Maiden, NC.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Viva Stallings of the home, two nephews and two nieces.

Jerry was a graduate of Bandys High School, class of 1969 and was employed by Comm-Scope, Catawba Plant for 22 years. He was an avid fisherman and upon retirement finally moved to the Outer Banks to pursue his passion. He spent many hours on the Sounds and at the Ocean doing what he loved the most.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Please share expressions of comfort at www.gallopfuneralservices.com Gallop Funeral Services was entrusted with arrangements.
