Geneva T. Settles

Kill Devil Hills- Geneva T. Settles 94, of Kill Devil Hills, died January 1, 2012 in Nags Head with her granddaughter by her side.

Born in Washington County Kentucky, February 15, 1917, Geneva was the widow of the late William Hollis Settles and the mother of the late Delores Fearing.

Surviving Geneva are two grandchildren; Michelle (David) Pharr of Kill Devil Hills, and Michael Fearing (Katherine) of Jacksonville, Florida; four great-grandchildren Caroline and Jonathan Pharr and Sara and Matthew Fearing, and numerous extended family members and friends.

The funeral will be held Saturday January 7, 2012 at 11 AM at Willisburg Baptist Church in Willisburg, Kentucky. Visitation times will be Friday January 6, 2012 from 4 to 8 pm at Carey & Son Funeral Home in Springfield, KY and at church prior to the funeral beginning at 9:30 am.

The family will hold a local memorial service at Spring Arbor Assisted Living in Kill Devil Hills Wednesday January 4, 2012 at 3 pm.  Reverend Steve Siegrist will officiate.
