Francis “Dale” Bridgewater

MANTEO – Francis “Dale” Bridgewater,74, son of late Cuthbert Bridgewater and Louise D. Bridgewater of Salisbury, Maryland, died at his home in Manteo, NC on July 30, 2013.

Dale is survived by his wife of 39 years Sally Maxwell Bridgewater of Rocky Mount and his four children: Elisabeth A. Bridgewater and her husband Dr. Michael O. Weeks of Seattle, WA; Trevor D. Bridgewater and his wife Marie S. Bridgewater of Fairbanks, AK; Ryland G. Bridgewater and his wife Brandi E. Bridgewater of Greensboro, NC; Winifred P. Bridgewater and her husband Neil Basu of London, England.

The family is hosting a casual gathering this Saturday in Dale’s memory. Saturday August 3 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wanchese Community Center 295 Old Schoolhouse Rd Wanchese, NC 27981. Come as you are and share memories and stories with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the American Cancer Society.
