Eric John Schweikhard
Eric Schweikhard, 56, born July 22, 1969, passed away peacefully at home on February 20, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob and his grandmother, Vivian.
Eric was a devoted family man and friend who found his greatest joy in the people he loved. Known to many of his friends as “EZE”, he had a kind, easy going spirit that made everyone feel welcome. He loved spending time with family and friends, tinkering with projects, and relaxing days spent fishing. Anyone who knew Eric knew his warmth, humor and loving nature; he will be missed deeply by all whose lives he touched.
Eric is lovingly remembered by his wife, Stephanie; his children, Sidney, Tim and Ashley; his five grandchildren, Audrina, Tommy, Timmy, Elizabeth and Harper. He is also survived by his mother, Sally Ann; his brother, Chris and his two beloved dogs, Winnie and Elsa.
Eric’s memory will live on in the love he gave so freely and the many moments of laughter he shared with those around him.
“A limb has fallen from the family tree.”
I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me”.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived was I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small
Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we’re together again.
Plans for Eric’s celebration of life are pending and will be announced when finalized. Please leave a message of comfort for the family at gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc was entrusted with arrangements.

Stephanie…I was so sorry to hear of Eric’s passing. God Bless you & your family. You will all be in my prayers. 🙏♥️
I'm very sorry for your loss. "Easy" was his nick name because he was the most easy going guy/boss anyone could have. He saw good in people and called them on it. I respected him. He was a true example of a leader I wanted to become and strive to be. I would follow him to every corner of the earth with which more than once I did in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and the list goes on. When we all traveled we were like one big fucked up family. He did so much for the people he was in charge of. He gave me my shot in life at my dream and I'll always be thankful to him for that. When I mentor others I use him as an example of how to do it. He was one of the greats and will be missed.
My deepest condolences, may he rest in peace.
I wish you Stephanie, and all of your family fur babies included my deepest condolences although I didn’t get to know him I heard many many stories about him and he will be deeply missed. Im so sorry
Sorry for your loss. Eric was a wonderful man and friend to many. He was never too busy to stop and talk to you at a show. We had so many great talks over my time with Monster Jam and it will be missed. Thanks for all the wonderful memories! Rest in peace my friend!
Stephanie Fred and I are just heartbroken. I wish I was there with you. When we first moved here you two were our rock. He always knew how to talk Fred down whenever he was going to snap. And you were my bestfriend. We love you both and are here for you if you need anything.
My heart aches for the loss and void everyone that knew him will experience. He is smiling down on all of us. May he be welcomed by many angels that will oversee his family and friends through this period of grief. He touched a lot of lives and leaves a legacy of kindness and compassion for all that had the blessing to cross paths with him.
