Elizabeth Ann Campbell Tipton
At the age of 51, Elizabeth peacefully passed on September 15, 2025, in Currituck, North Carolina. Elizabeth was born April 24,1974 in Annapolis MD. She was the daughter of Shirley Kendrick (Sammy Reed) of Grandy NC, and Donald Edward of Annapolis, MD and the granddaughter of Ann Conner of Grandy, NC and Papaw Wilson of Rockville MD.
Also surviving Elizabeth are two aunts, June Campbell of Grandy, NC and Tina Wilson of Rockville, MD. She was a loving mother to her children, Kristian Tipton and Eric “Colin” Tipton Jr., and a proud Gammie to Tobias Mercer, all of Currituck, NC.
Elizabeth played many other roles in all of our lives- including being a wonderful sister, niece, cousin, and friend to many. Elizabeth will live on forever in our hearts and her love will carry on for eternity. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the unconditional love she gave to her family and friends. Her beautiful spirit will continue to guide and inspire all her loved ones
Friends may view Friday September 19, 2025 from 6 pm to 7 pm at Gallop Memorial Chapel Barco, NC. The funeral will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 2pm at Powells Point Christian Church. Minister Jerry Owens will officiate. The burial, at Laurel Memorial Gardens, will take place immediately after the funeral service.

We were so surprised and so sorry Liz pasted away. But she is in a much better place now and is not suffering. We thought of Liz as a daughter years ago and tried to help her as much as we could when Colin was so young but then we just kinda lost track. We did love her and do love her and praying she has peace now.
So sorry for all the family and friends she was good person and she will be missed by her family that loved her much lost for words God has her now.
My heart and love goes out to the family. Liz was such a sweet person, she loved her children and family very much. Sending my prayers and condolences to the family.. God bless 🙏
We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Liz. My your entire family have memories to share of sweet Liz. May the Lord comfort you during this sad time.
What a terrific loss. I am so shocked. She’s such a warm, loving soul and will be greatly missed. I am confident that God has that little, wonderful baby wrapped up in his arms. I pray for comfort for the family, but know, he has her and he’s going to take care of her. Love you all, and my thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of you.
You will be dearly missed Aunt Liz! I love you and hope you’re having fun up there in heaven. Until we meet again rest easy and protect all of the kids and grandma we all are struggling without you
To all the Family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. There is no greater sorrow than losing someone you love. I hope you’re able to find peace and comfort during this incredibly difficult time. Liz is no longer in pain, no longer fighting and that, in its own way, is a beautiful and gentle relief. And just imagine all the chaos Ryan is giving her right now, they’re together again, and that thought brings a bit of warmth through the sadness. May her memory live on in all of you, and may love surround you as you grieve! I love you all so very much ! ❤️
