Dennis E. Denzin
Dennis E. Denzin age 65 passed peacefully of natural causes November 28, 2025 in Kill Devil Hills, NC. Dennis was born in Wisconsin. He was predeceased by his parents Norman and Traude Denzin as well as his twin brother, David Henry Denzin.
Dennis was a long-time Kill Devil Hills resident. At one time, he was a successful and highly skilled yacht builder working on marine projects all over the world. In his spare time, Dennis enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, and shooting pool.
Dennis is survived by his son, Wade Denzin of Kill Devil Hills; his step-son, Cory Smith also of Kill Devil Hills; his two nephews, Brandon Denzin and Jason Denzin both of Wisconsin; and his son’s mother and dear friend, Leslie Ward of the Kill Devil Hills home.
Dennis’ personal preference for the simplicity of cremation will be honored. Plans for a celebration of life are pending. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dennis’ honor are welcome at the Dare County Boat Builders Foundation (DCBBF) which provides financial assistance to Dare County high school seniors and college students studying in the marine industry.
