David Lee Clatterbuck

Manns Harbor- David Lee Clatterbuck 36, died suddenly Tuesday June 16, 2009 in Manns Harbor. David was born in Warrenton, Virginia December 22, 1972. He was the son of the late David Franklin Clatterbuck. David was raised in Dare County and attended Manteo High School. He was a graduate of Flintstone High School in Flintstone, Maryland.  In his youth, he was a standout athlete and excelled in basketball and volleyball.

David went on to graduate from Beaufort Community College with a degree in mechanical drafting.  He then earned his bachelors degree in horticulture from East Carolina University. David was employed in Dare County in the horticulture and plumbing trades and spent his spare time enjoying fishing, surfing, and skateboarding.

David Lee Clatterbuck leaves to cherish his memory; his mother Robin Peyton Davis and husband Robert Bernard Davis of Manns Harbor, one brother, Jonathan Dee Flowers of Manteo, his grandmother, Arlie Jones Flowers of Engelhard, his niece, Abby Arlie Flowers of Manteo,several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a host of extended family members, and dear friends.

The family will hold a memorial service Sunday June 21, 2009 at 2 O’Clock in the afternoon at the family residence at 5229 Mashoes Road in Manns Harbor.
