Charles William “Billy Bob” Midgett
Charles William Midgett died of natural causes in Chesapeake, VA February 20, 2026. He recently turned 63. “Billy Bob” as he was best known resided in Powell’s Point and worked in land development for many years.
His only child, daughter, Amber Corbell (Kevin) of Camden, NC is honoring her father’s preference for the simplicity of cremation. Besides Amber, Charles leaves several siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins , many extended family members, and close friends to celebrate his life.

I'm so sorry for family, thoughts and prayers to all of you. Billy was a childhood friend and classmate and he was so funny. He could make you laugh at anything. We grew up together and went through life. RIP Billy, you are well again and free now.
