Bruce Randall Ferrier

February 8, 2025

Jarvisburg – Bruce Randall Ferrier was born June 19, 1959 in Philadelphia and went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 8, 2025.

Bruce was a retired master furniture and cabinet maker and backyard farmer.  Prior to health problems, his lifelong love of nature and animals led him to become a member of the Outer Banks NOAA Marine Mammal Stranding Response Unit.  He often took solace in cycling, from daily rides to tours and charity rides.

Bruce was honored to be a heart transplant recipient in 2015.

Bruce was a proud member of Manteo 521 Masonic Lodge and N.C. State Society of the Sons of the American Revolution Albemarle Chapter.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Joan; daughter, Caitlin; son, Kieran; and grandson, Liam, as well as many special friends and his loyal pet companions.

No services are planned at this time. In honor of Bruce, please consider becoming an organ donor. Gallop Funeral Services was entrusted with arrangements. Please share expressions of sympathy with the family at www.gallopfuneralservices.com.
