Billy Wayne Gibbs
Billy Wayne Gibbs succumbed to cancer in Greenville, NC August 12, 2023 at the age of 55. Over the years, Billy’s compassion for others made him a professional caregiver for several local families.
Survivors include his wife, Patty of Guadalajara, Mexico, his daughter Amanda-Yanet Gibbs of Keizer, Oregon, several siblings, and extended family members. Also surviving is Billy’s caregiver, friend and roommate, Rae Ann Booth of Harbinger, NC.

Billy will be missed here in Dare County. When he worked for Piggly Wiggly and Food A Rama he was always helping us find items on the counters we were looking for and getting our bags of groceries in the car with a Big Smile and a way good by. We send love and prayer's to all of Billy's family and friends.

Dear Family of Mr. Billy Gibbs, Though we did not personally know him we are familiar with him through PPCC. He always carried a brightness with him on Sundays. May you All feel Gods peace, love and be filled with life long Cherished memories.
Omg...I loved Billy!! He was the sweetest person. Always smiling. Always had a hug for you.Just recently found out that he was sick.We lost touch with each other.Billy never met a stranger. He was so nice and so full of love!!He will be so missed here on the Obx.We love you, Billy. No more pain and suffering. Rest easy, Billy. Fly high, my friend!! Love, Nina
